Prior to co-founding TelePIX, Seongick CHO was Principal Investigator (PI) of operation and data service for the world’s first geostationary orbit multi-spectral ocean imager, GOCI/COMS (Cheollian), and played key roles in planning, budgeting, development, and operation of its 2nd generation GOCI-II/GK2B, Cheollian 2B. He was appointed as Director of Korea Ocean Satellite Center at the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) in his 30s. He is also the founder of Korea’s very first local government CubeSat project, which was successfully initiated in 2018.

Seonghui Kim has majored in Astronomy. As a key member for the development of all EO/IR satellites in South Korea launched from 2005 until now, all 7 optical payloads in satellite launched so far are successfully perfoming their missions in orbit. He is now developing electro optical camera for nano-level ultra-small satellites in TelePIX.

Darongsae Kwon received her bachelor's and master's degrees in statistics from Seoul National University and her Ph.D in statistics from the University of Chicago, USA. Prior to joining TelePIX, she worked as a consultant and data scientist in both public and industrial sectors, deriving valuable insights from data using statistical and machine learning techniques.

Victor brings a wide range of experience, including business & financial management, strategy & operational consulting, and corporate development. Before joining Telepix, he was in charge of the overseas business, overseeing 9 subsidiaries of INFINITT Healthcare, as well as overlooking all corporate development initiatives. Prior to that, he was a consultant providing strategic and operational direction for portfolio companies of private equity firms in Korea. Prior to that, he was in charge of financial management for IT products at Samsung Electronics. Victor graduated from Johns Hopkins University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Math & Statistics and Economics. He earned his Master of Business Administration at INSEAD.

Sehyun Seong graduated from the Dept. of Astronomy at Yonsei University. He has been working in optical engineering for more than 7 years, focusing on stray light analysis and optical performance verification of satellite payloads such as CAS 500, KOMPSAT-7 & -7A, 425 EO/IR, KPLO. He is currently competent team leader on various projects, such as the development of PAT systems for FSOs, deployable telescopes, multi-aperture computational cameras and multi-spectral cameras.

Arongsae Kwon graduated from Seoul National University and worked for Samsung Heavy Industries for 15 years, as a manager for procurement of various key equipment, price negotiations of thick plates with the global steel mills, and establishment of annual budget plans. With this management ability and global business experience, she joined TelePIX as a founding member and is currently in charge of all certification tasks, contract/budget management, and seeking new business and partners.

Sun Jeong Ham has completed MSc in Astrophysics, Oxford University. She worked in KARI Chollian satellite optical payload team as a researcher and has a lot of experience for optomechanical performance verification from ground telescope to space satellite. Currently head of imaging Science Research Team and doing image analysis of nano-class satellites in TelePIX.
